Performance figures on this page come from selected campaigns and reporting periods in our portfolio records through September 2026. Several screenshots are filtered views of the same ad account, so totals are calculated from distinct accounts only. Results vary with market, budget, targeting, offer, competition and sales follow-up.

Our work in Gonda

Two ads ran in Gonda on ₹100 daily budgets, using creative that was working elsewhere in UP. One returned 19 leads at ₹44.96, the other 14 at ₹60.05.

At ₹51.36 blended, this is roughly five times what the same offer cost in Hardoi and twice what it cost in Kanpur — in a market of comparable size. Frequency was only 1.5, so it was not saturation. The audience simply did not respond to the hook at the rate we see elsewhere.

We did not scale it. On ₹1,694 of spend there was not enough signal to justify a full creative rebuild, and the client's budget was better used in markets already producing at ₹20 to ₹30.

Campaign screenshots

Client names, campaign names, ad names and creative thumbnails are blurred. Every number to the right of that column is exactly as the platform reported it.

What this market taught us

A cheap Tier-2 market is not guaranteed. Gonda is comparable in size to Hardoi, where the same category cost ₹5.86. Here it cost ₹51.36. Town size does not predict cost per lead on its own.

Low frequency plus poor response means the offer, not the audience. At 1.5 there was plenty of audience left. That points at the hook rather than saturation, and fixing a hook takes a creative rebuild, not more budget.

Knowing when to stop is part of the job. The useful recommendation here was to move budget to markets already working, not to keep spending until the numbers improved. We would rather say that than quietly keep a campaign alive.

Frequently asked questions

What does a solar lead cost in Gonda?

₹51.36 blended across two ads, with individual ads at ₹44.96 and ₹60.05.

Why publish a campaign that did not work?

Because the range is the useful information. A portfolio showing only the good markets tells you nothing about what to expect in yours.

Would more budget have fixed it?

Unlikely. Frequency was only 1.5, so there was audience left — the problem was response rate, which needs a creative rebuild rather than more spend.

Do you always recommend continuing?

No. Here the honest recommendation was to move budget to markets already producing at ₹20 to ₹30.

Do you work in smaller UP towns at all?

Yes — Hardoi produced leads at ₹5.86 and Kannauj at ₹39.55. Results vary widely by market, which is the point of publishing all of them.
