Performance figures on this page come from selected campaigns and reporting periods in our portfolio records through September 2026. Several screenshots are filtered views of the same ad account, so totals are calculated from distinct accounts only. Results vary with market, budget, targeting, offer, competition and sales follow-up.
Our work in Gorakhpur
Three ads ran in Gorakhpur against the same rooftop solar offer. The static Instant Form ad carried the account: 265 leads at ₹34.86. A video variant delivered 52 leads at ₹71.35. A second video barely delivered at all.
That is roughly double the cost for the video route. It is not that video never works in solar — it earns its place when the offer needs explaining, such as subsidy eligibility rules or payback-period maths. For a straightforward "check if your roof qualifies" ask, a static creative with a clear number beat it comfortably.
Frequency sat at 2.4, so the audience still had room. The cost difference was creative format, not saturation.
Campaign screenshots
Client names, campaign names, ad names and creative thumbnails are blurred. Every number to the right of that column is exactly as the platform reported it.

What this market taught us
Video is not a default upgrade. It cost roughly twice as much per lead here. Video earns its place when the offer needs explaining; when the ask is simply a phone number, a static creative with one clear number usually wins.
Production cost makes the gap worse. The static ad was cheaper to produce and cheaper per lead. Any video test should be judged on both, not just on the dashboard number.
A small account can still settle a question. Gorakhpur is not a big spender in our records, but it answered a format question we now apply across markets — which is what a test is for.
Frequently asked questions
What does a solar lead cost in Gorakhpur?
₹34.86 from the best-performing static ad. The video variant in the same ad set cost ₹71.35.
Should solar ads use video or static?
In this test static won clearly. Video makes sense when the offer needs explaining — subsidy rules, payback maths — rather than when the ask is a simple enquiry.
Is 265 leads a large account?
No. It is one of our smaller solar accounts, and we show it as it is rather than only publishing the big ones.
What budget did this run on?
Daily budgets between ₹100 and ₹200 per ad.
Do you work with solar businesses in eastern UP?
Yes — Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Prayagraj are all documented on this site with their own numbers.
