Performance figures on this page come from selected campaigns and reporting periods in our portfolio records through September 2026. Several screenshots are filtered views of the same ad account, so totals are calculated from distinct accounts only. Results vary with market, budget, targeting, offer, competition and sales follow-up.
Our work in Mahendragarh
Two ads ran against the same rooftop solar offer in Mahendragarh. One used broad targeting and let Meta's delivery find the buyer. The other used a manually narrowed audience — the kind most advertisers reach for instinctively, on the theory that a tighter audience must be a cheaper one.
The open ad delivered 213 leads at ₹32.69. The narrowed one delivered 65 at ₹53.85. It also delivered less: 76,766 impressions against 264,671, because a smaller pool gives the auction less room to find cheap placements.
Mahendragarh is a Haryana market, so the subsidy and discom references differ from our UP campaigns. The creative was rewritten for the state rather than translated.

What this market taught us
A narrower audience is not automatically a cheaper one. This is the single most common assumption we have to argue with, and this account is the clearest counter-example in our records: ₹32.69 against ₹53.85 on the same offer.
Narrow targeting also caps your volume. The narrowed ad did not just cost more per lead — it could only reach 26,727 people. Even if the cost had matched, the ceiling was far lower.
Test the setting before committing a season of budget to it. This test cost roughly ₹3,500 and settled a question that would otherwise have shaped the whole account. That is the cheapest money in the campaign.
Frequently asked questions
What does a solar lead cost in Mahendragarh?
₹32.69 with open targeting and ₹53.85 with a narrowed audience — ₹37.64 blended across both.
Should solar campaigns use narrow targeting?
Our Haryana data says test it rather than assume it. Open targeting beat narrowed targeting here and in Gurugram.
Why did the narrowed ad get fewer impressions?
A smaller audience gives the auction fewer cheap placements to find. It limits volume as well as raising cost.
Is Haryana cheaper than Delhi NCR for solar?
In our accounts yes — ₹37.64 here against ₹63.11 in Delhi and Noida, though Gurugram sat higher at ₹55.76.
Does UP creative work in Haryana?
Not as-is. The state subsidy scheme and discom are different, so the offer needs rewriting rather than translating.
